River Landing Inn

A nurturing space of rejuvenation for the heart, mind, body & spirit.

Located in Saxapahaw, North Carolina...

…just a stone’s throw from the heart of the historic and newly restored mill village. This country inn rests on over 20 acres of rolling pastures and hardwood forest, along the banks of the beautiful Haw River.

An Update from River Landing Inn:

It would be an oversimplification to state that 2020 brought some significant challenges.  With the difficulties and life decisions that many of us have made, and continue to make, opportunities for reflection, growth, and change.  While we have enjoyed running the RiverLanding Inn as a bed and breakfast since the summer of 2007, life and circumstances have allowed us to revisit priorities and realities.

So while not an easy decision, our plan moving forward is to make the living space of the Bed and Breakfast our own, and to rent our previous loft to guests.  This will be our only rental, and while breakfast is no longer included; we believe this space will provide our guests a clean, quiet, comfortable way to enjoy the beauty of the area we call home, and also the wonderful things Saxapahaw continues to offer.

We appreciate your years of support, and look forward to hosting you in the months and years to come in the space we called home in the Inn for so many years.

I love this place! The owners are super nice and when the weather is warm, there’s a little patio outside the rooms where you can sun or picnic near the pastures. It’s lovely! for lunch or dinner, go to one of the YUMMY restaurants in Saxapahaw.

My husband and I just had a fantastic stay. Matt, the owner, is super nice and overly accommodating. We stayed two nights in this inn which is a converted barn. Super high ceilings, large comfy bed and very private setting. I highly recommend this location if you are in the area.
