River Landing Inn

A nurturing space of rejuvenation for the heart, mind, body & spirit.

Located in Saxapahaw, North Carolina...

…just a stone’s throw from the heart of the historic and newly restored mill village. This country inn rests on over 20 acres of rolling pastures and hardwood forest, along the banks of the beautiful Haw River.

A Statement from River Landing Inn:

Since the summer of 2007, we have dedicated a lot of  time and energy to creating a comfortable place for those visiting Saxapahaw and Alamance County to relax and enjoy all this wonderful part of North Carolina has to offer.  Beginning in March of this year, we experienced the life-changing events spurned by the Covid 19 pandemic.  To say a lot has changed would be an understatement.

In order to be flexible, safe, and thoughtful about how to carry on; we've made some difficult choices.  Moving forward, the space we'll be offering to rent is our previous Innkeeper's space.  It's a 1BR/1BA loft space, about 450 square feet.  It has a private entrance, a bathroom with shower, a small kitchenette with sink, small refrigerator/freezer, microwave, toaster oven, tea kettle and coffee pot.  It has a Queen bed, and the loft has a couch and television (Youtube TV/Netflix).  Wireless Internet service also included.

We found this space to be comfortable for us over many years, and hope you'll find it the same.  We're no longer operating as a Bed & Breakfast, we've found the sleeping in on Saturday and Sunday mornings to be too good to give up.  Thanking you in advance for your understanding, years of support, and hope this arrangement provides a safe and comfortable way to experience Saxapahaw moving forward.

I love this place! The owners are super nice and when the weather is warm, there’s a little patio outside the rooms where you can sun or picnic near the pastures. It’s lovely! for lunch or dinner, go to one of the YUMMY restaurants in Saxapahaw.

My husband and I just had a fantastic stay. Matt, the owner, is super nice and overly accommodating. We stayed two nights in this inn which is a converted barn. Super high ceilings, large comfy bed and very private setting. I highly recommend this location if you are in the area.
